Our Blogging Guidelines

Mrs. Koch's Blogging Guidelines

There are rules, responsibilities, and expectations that go along with having the privilege of participating in our blog.
I have established these blogging guidelines for the safety and security of our students.
  • All students must have a technology contract and media release form signed by parents in order to have their photo, video or work published on the blog.
  • Students will only be identified by their first name.
  • Parents leaving comments are asked to use their first name only or sign their comment as “_____’s mom” or "_____ 's dad" to avoid identifying their child.
  • Students may not share their private information or the private information of others in their blog posts or comments.  (Private information includes such things as team names, troop numbers, home address, phone number or family information.)
  • Students commenting from home should ask a parent or other adult to help them proofread and edit their comment prior to submitting it.
  • Student posts must be approved by Mrs. Koch before they will be published.
  • Students will follow all of the Blogging Guidelines established by our class.
